My Dad was your beloved brother and that made you my beloved uncle. We shared a room together when you first came to England from Cyprus. Years later, when I was old enough to understand, mum told me that when you were living with us she had so many girl friends, they were all coming round to see my handsome uncle Soli. I remember, with affection, when George was working with you at the Sheraton - you would ring me to remind him what days he was needed on site. I felt so proud that you had entrusted me with this 'supervisory' role. How I wish I could hear the phone ring again and your voice, "Maria, tell George Tuesday, 8 o'clock, OK?" I will never forget the Christmas Eve when I phoned you, Christmas Day in our new house had not gone to plan and was your invitation to spend the day with you still open? Of course it was - George, Angie, Philip & I spent Christmas with you and your lovely family. I will miss you my lovely uncle Soli but I will never forget you. Your place in my heart is right next to my Dad - your beloved brother. Your niece - Maria XXXX
